He and Mom travelled intensely, visiting many continents. He always tried to learn more so he could help is fellow citizens with new techniques and methods in agriculture. She had a great sense of humour and a smile for all the people that came near her. In her younger days mushroom picking and berry picking were always on her mind. She loved gardening and tending to the flowers all her life. She had a great love for birds and always had a bird feeder or two on the go.
Her appreciation of animals was always evident, even if it meant lawn ornaments. Mom always lived her life graciously no matter what came her way.
